We are 3 individuals with different backgrounds but with one shared goal: to give back to our community through helping others! Together we will continue living a long, quality life by using our gym to drive strength, fitness, and mobility.
In today’s world of technology, we find ourselves physically stagnant. We are either on our phone, sitting at a desk, or on a couch for most of our lives. Two of us were part of this toxic cycle until an experienced training coach, Nancy Ha, told us to get up off our booties, take our fingers off the phone, and MOVE!
What started out as moving to stay mobile led to a drive to gain more strength. This inspired us to want to live longer with a better quality of life. Once we saw results and what they did for our bodies and minds, we felt that it was time to spread an active lifestyle to others. We put our heads together, and Longevity MVMT came to life. As our name suggests, we are invoking movement for Longevity. We want to encourage people of all ages to join us on this movement of using fitness to live longer.
As Sir Isaac Newton’s first law of motion suggests, "A body at rest will stay at rest, while a body in motion will stay in motion." We would like to take that law and include that a fit body will create a fit mind, which will in turn lead to a better life. We are more than just a gym: we are a community!
